Description and function: diaphragm type air compressors used in activated sludge systems to develop an aeration system necessary for aerobic bacteria digestion processes, using the principle of electromagnetic vibration of an actuator rod supported by synthetic rubber diaphragms. This system reduces power consumption to a minimum, being able to supply constant air flows without changes in the working pressure. The low noise levels in the compressed air circuit and vibrating section are particularly significant. The operating temperature must be between –20°C and +40°C with relatively low humidity.
